More Easter Shots

I found a dress for WRB with an attached dress for her baby. Here is a picture of WRB dressing her baby Easter morning.

The Easter Bunny was also very generous to our little girl. She bounded down the stairs Easter morning and yelled back up that, "The Easter Bunny had left a huge mess in the living room, but no basket for her." We reminded her that we had a a party last night and that she and her friends were the ones who had made the mess, not the Easter Bunny!! She checked again and found a basket filled with candy, easter socks, snap beads, a doggie bracelet, Max and Ruby DVD and a chocolate bunny. She was allowed to eat candy before church, which was a BIG treat!

At church she went up to ring the bells with her best buddy C. They go to daycare together. In another 5 years they are going to be wild together!

We came home from church and ate flank steak, salad, asparagus and strawberries with Mom and Dad. Then we all took naps!!

Catching up

I have been busy finishing up a graduate class, completing report cards and looking forward to Spring Break. Sorry for the lapse in blogging. Wen had dental surgery on Feb. 18. She had five teeth that needed to be worked on. I have posted a picture of her silver tooth. I was saddened to learn that the dentist said some of her problems were from poor prenatal care. I am so glad we are able to help her now.

Our church had a Easter Egg Hunt Saturday. We enjoyed the windy, but sunny weather. The kids loved the hunt!

CNY Feb. 9, 2008

We also celebrated WRB's real birthday on Saturday at a CNY celebration in our area. Here are some pictures to enjoy. We started the day by lighting a candle and placing it in a Birthday Sausage Biscuit. This was WRB's idea. Then we got ready to go to the CNY. You can see JRB and WRB in the Dragon Parade on this You Tube link.

Happy Birthday!

We celebrated WRB's birthday a day early. She has a Hello Kitty Party. Daddy made the clown cake. Everyone enjoyed pizza, cake and ice cream.

February 3, falls, football and FOOD

January 2008 ended with me falling on my butt and left side in the ice and snow. I bruised some ribs and my pride.

JRB baked and decorated some more cakes. He passed the first course and will begin the second course tomorrow.

WRB suffered with strep throat and had to stay with Gdaddy one day. Thanks for the help Gdaddy. I also started an antibiotic b/c I was feeling puny.

JRB made us a wonderful dinner of homemade chicken fettucini last night. We dined by candlight, which WRB loves! Then for brunch today, we had homemade french toast and fruit. Today JRB made ravoli and scratch for dinner tonight. Now he is in front of the TV cheering on HIS NE Patriots. I am sipping a martini and surfing the web. WRB is right beside Daddy cheering the NE Patriots.

WRB can write her name. She has been practicing at home and school. I am so proud, I don't think I could write my name until Kindergarten.

WRB also loves her new pink WIG! She puts it on with her high heel play shoes and runs errands.
